Dennis E. Zirbel, Architect is a full service firm of 5 designers / architects and is licensed to perform design work in both California and Nevada. Dennis Zirbel is a registered Architect in the State of California and a registered Residential Designer in the State of Nevada.
Dennis E. Zirbel, Architect has designed or worked on over fifteen resort / recreation facilities in the Lake Tahoe / Truckee area and over 300 residences in both Nevada and California. Additionally, the firm has been involved in eight Master Planning projects in the Lake Tahoe / Truckee area. The firm possesses both the design creativity and technical expertise to provide architectural services in both the commercial and residential field. In addition, we possess the common sense required for mountain architecture: namely using local materials properly, and taking into consideration the peculiarities of the site, the climate, the wind, the views and most importantly the building's function.
Our continued success comes from being flexible with regards to design style but committed to one design philosophy: design structures that elicit the same response from the heart as great music or poetry does from the soul.
Location
The Studio of Denis E. Zirbel is located regionally in the Lake Tahoe area and specifically in the historic downtown area of Truckee, CA at 10056 Spring Street. The firm operates out of a restored bungalow dating back to the late 1800's that was restored and converted for the purposes of business by Mr.Zirbel. In addition to housing the design studio it is also home to the offices of Masterworks and Nicholas Construction.
